We rely on volunteers to help us in our daily operations. If you are interested in volunteering on an on-going basis please contact our office. We will be happy to give you a tour of our facilities and discuss your availability and area of interest. We utilize volunteers as:
“Volunteering for Food” - If you are in need of food assistance and are able bodied and available any day during our hours of 8:00AM – 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, you are welcome to work to earn a food basket. No appointment is necessary; just show up at our office any work day before 8AM and be prepared to stay until 2PM. Wear appropriate clothing for working in a warehouse. Dress modestly and wear closed toe flat shoes. We will feed you lunch and have a prepared food basket for you on the day following your day of volunteering. On occasion we receive too many volunteers to use in one day and reserve the right to ask you to return another day if we are overstaffed. We do not accept volunteers on the first Friday of each month during inventory. |
